These two
guys are some of the first dolls I have ever made….they are old and a little
odd!
They have traveled to all the craft
fairs with me, and they still need to find a forever home! Would you be willing
to take these guys in and give them a loving home? If you would like to take in these
Misfit Toys this Christmas and call them your own please leave a comment on
this post and share one of your favorite Christmas memories! Some of my favorite memories from when I was little include going to my Grandma's house every Christmas for dinner. Watching all the old classics like Rudolph and Frosty!
Being excited waiting for Santa with my sister on Christmas Eve and eating my Aunt Jean's famous yummy shortbread bites! It would also be
great if you clicked on the little Facebook Icon “F” at the bottom of this post
and shared it on your personal profile! I will draw a winner Monday November 26th.
This contest is open to everyone in Canada and the US.
Happy Holiday’s!
My favorite Christmas memory is spending the day downtown with my dad- we did it every year even through college!
ReplyDeleteWe always celebrated Christmas Eve at my maternal grandparents. It seemed like my dad (a firefighter) was always working that day. After completely overdoing it on Polish sausage and kiflies we'd load up a plate of goodies and take him some food and his presents; he was always so happy to see us. My brother and I would climb on the trucks, the adults would talk, he'd eat and open his presents...it's just one of those memories that makes me stop and smile. Christmas at the fire house.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas memory was waking up SUPER early to see the tree and everything Santa left. My mom's sneaky but really sweet way to not get woken up quite so early was to leave our stockings on our doorknob, as if Santa left them for us after taking them off the chimney. Its something I still look for as an adult, even though I know its not going to be there :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas memories is going to granny's farm with all the cousins and aunts and uncles.. having HUGE Christmas dinners.. going on flying saucers down the hills to the work shop.. building igloos and having fun in the snow and then going inside for hot chocolate granny made and cookies.. mmm and always watched Charlie Brown Christmas <3
